Corporate CPA with over 15 Years of Experience as Corporate Accountant

My name is Jill and I'm a licensed CPA. I have over 15 years of full cycle accounting experience working with nonprofits, government contractors, and a Fortune 500 company. I have trained and supported personnel for 15 cost centers in areas such as billing, payroll processing, work order and project creation, and project management. I have also served as the auditor’s primary point of contact for annual financial statement, MD personal property tax, MD unemployment insurance, MD sales tax, and pension and 401(K) audits.

To increase transparency and accuracy, I have written several manuals for critical tasks such as labor distribution posting, retroactive pay adjustments, leave accrual postings, accounts payable & purchase order voucher processing, and issuing bank disbursements. I have also been responsible for preparing, maintaining, and presenting cashflow forecasts, as well as preparing borrowing base certificates for lines of credit.

Work Terms

Because I work full-time, I can only be available for freelance work in the evenings and weekends. I discuss pertinent information such communicating updates and lead times for responding to inquiries with clients on an individual basis.
