About

Experienced educator, journalist, creative writer and copy editor for hire.

All of my professions have revolved around writing, as language is my passion in life. I completed a bachelor's in communications at UMKC, then attended Sarah Lawrence College's MFA in Writing as one of twelve in my year. Afterwards, I worked as a freelance journalist and copy editor for news agents around the Kansas City area. I currently work as an English Language Arts teacher.

My free time is devoted to reading, hiking with my pups and cooking.

Work Terms
