Writing a Book Doesn't Have to Be Scary!

I am a professional ghostwriter specializing in personal memoirs and full-length novels (70,000+ words), although I am a solid writer who, with the right guidance, can write pretty much anything (even a screenplay for Lifetime Television). In addition to ghostwriting, I have experience as a financial proofreader, a job that developed in me a strong eye for detail. I am an avid reader, primarily of fiction so that I can escape the stress of daily life. In addition to writing for other people, I have written several works under my own name, including children's novels, photography manuals, trivia books, and travel articles for newspapers and magazines. I live in Northern California with my wife, five kids, and two dogs... and I am a huge 49ers and Giants fan.

Work Terms

For longer works, I prefer to cut my fee into 4 equal payments--1/4 up front, 1/4 after we write the outline, 1/4 after I deliver the rough draft, and 1/4 after I deliver the final draft. I know that every client has different needs, and I do my best to accommodate each person individually. The key, of course, is communication--let me know exactly what you need and exactly when you need it, and I'll do everything I can to get that done. Although I have experience writing full-length manuscripts, I am open to working on shorter pieces as well.
