I insist on thinking about the big picture for your business. Software is magic and power. But it is merely a tool and a means to an end. It has a goal whether that goal is to reduce cost, increase profit or reduce time spent on non-value-adding-tasks, I will make myself aware of and keep said goal as the end game, throughout our project. I will make your concerns as the project, my concerns. I will ask about said concerns and educate myself in your field as a matter of principle.

I can literally, program anything in existence in any language, on any platform in existence. Couple this, with my global consulting background, and you will be hard-pressed to find an individual more qualified for the project you have in mind.

My experience is vast: I started out working in the telecom consulting and engineering field working for a company called: Martin Group (now CHR Solutions) as a consultant. From there, I moved on to working for DIRECTV as a Database Administrator and BI Developer. As I grew beyond that role, and lacking in patience with the company, I moved to a more bleeding edge and creative company where I could accomplish would DIRECTV was limiting me in: GoDaddy. I spent 6 years at GoDaddy as a Senior Engineer, leading various projects in the full .NET Stack utilizing nearly every technology Microsoft had to offer and various other platforms as well, too numerous to mention. Meanwhile, because GoDaddy didn't keep me busy enough, I started my own eCommerce business and grew it to a million dollars utilizing various technologies inside and outside of the .NET stack where I gained vast experience working with other major APIs such as Amazon MWS, Shopify and Google. I also have developed a major, mass-released mobile application to the Google App Store.

I am one of a hand-full of individuals in the United States with this kind of experience and can validate every claim made here.

Work Terms

I prefer to take our time defining the requirements to the letter with Use Cases, agreeing on a Statement of Work and hourly rate with estimated hourly costs per releasable item + risk assessment per item. I prefer to be open and up front with zero surprises for the customer. I WILL turn down certain work if I feel I am the wrong individual or if my resources do not allow me to meet the expectations. Your expectations are first and foremost!

My hourly rate, the summation of which is directly assigned to a release of features, is determined somewhat by complexity and risk. However, my minimum is $40 per hour. Keep in mind, this does not include time spent on documentation, training, communication and flushing out requirements. I prefer to develop a relationship with a client and also define a warranty that is reasonable given the work described and use cases.

All of this aside, I am a business person first and foremost. I am flexible and if you have a requirement my work terms don't meet, please feel free to contact me regardless. I prefer, but am not limited to .NET Stack Technologies and Solutions. I am not above completing a simple HTML Scraping project, nor is an Automotive Robotic Testing Platform out of the range of my interest. Looking forward to working with you!
