Do the best that you can while striving to improve that best.

I actually love doing rewriting and review of manuscripts and articles it gives me a chance to see what others are writing and to practice one of my first loves aka reading. My editing skills are actually pretty good. It is always easier to catch errors in someone else's writing then your own. I won't lie and say I can catch every mistake 100% of the time because to be truthful it is for most humans impossible to catch it all but I can catch the majority of the errors or see where a rephrase on a sentence will improve readability which is just as important in determining how your manuscript is going to be accepted by the intended audience.

I am a college graduate with a double major in computer science and criminal justice and a minor in psychology. I have had a love of books both reading and writing since early childhood. I have taken courses in English Composition, Creative Writing and Technical Writing.

I have one book published under the pseudonym of Jeanette Nightstar. I have three poems published in different collections under my maiden name of JuLee Jenkins.

My favorite genre are horror, sci-fi, paranormal, thrillers, and action. I am comfortable with romance, westerns and many others. Please no Erotica though I don't mind proofing or reading it i am very uncomfortable writing it.

I have been out of the work field for a number of years having devoted my time to being a caregiver for a sick family member. I don't regret making the decision to give up the job but i do look forward to getting back to work.

Work Terms

I believe in giving 110% percent in anything i do. To me that means doing my best and then pushing to improve upon that best. Does this mean I am perfect no but I will give everything I have in power to do the best job that I can. I am a family oriented person although I have never missed a deadline at work, I do schedule time for family and time to do volunteer services in the community. So sometimes it may be a hour or two before i reply to an email but rest assured I will answer it as quick as I return to the computer.
