I am highly creative colorful painter of florals, patterns, as well as neutral toned and colorful abstracts that can transform your space and elevate your product line.
I was raised in NYC and was exposed to fine art and contemporary art at a very young age. My father was a painter and I learned by doing mostly. I then attended art school in upstate New York, learned to write about art and received a degree in Journalism.
Having an extensive education in the arts and art history, I began painting after leaving a merchandising position with a major company. Color, expression and materials became my focus. I trained under some of the best painters in the area and then began creating abstracts and florals.
In 25 years, I have learned that work that comes from the heart is always seen as true.
I get inspired by the colors and energy of an experience from seeing a store window filled with dresses to a walk in the park filled with trees. Shadows, lighting and more play a big role in the pieces I create for specific interiors and the series that flow from my imagination to canvas, paper and wood.
Work Terms
i will do a free initial consultation for one hour on your project which will allow me to create your deadline chart and see what we need to accomplish, how we will accomplish it and what results you are looking for.
We work from your deadline backwards. Once we decide to move forward, I take a 50 percent non refundable deposit toward supplies and preparation. I notify you on a regular basis with photos and then upon final approval and payment, the work is sent digitally or physically based on the project.
I usually need 2-6 weeks to complete a project depending on the scope.
I have a professional delivery and hanging service for physical delivery and staging. I have connections for printing whatever we need as well as pattern technicians and manufacturers for completing fabrics, upholstering, multiple prints, staging furniture and plants as well as studios available to me for film sets and more.
