I have been freelancing for 10 years now and has gone from being a graphic artist to a wordpress builder and designer, a marketing assistant for a social media expert to a Social Media Manager.
Having decided to become a freelancer while being a single mother had been the motivation to upgrade my skills and transition from one expertise to another.
I know myself as a fast learner and very hungry for new skills and opportunities, I simply could not say "I can't" when offered a job requiring some related skills I don't have. It is those clients who trusted my hunger for learning and development who came to know how exceptional my work ethics are and I am grateful for their feedbacks which led me to realize how confident I should feel about my skills.
I have this automatic tendency to go the extra mile whenever I can. It is something I do without much thought. That's why I am confident that I can meet my client's expectations.
There were only a few times when I didn't push through working for a client who expects huge results right away, for example in a social media management task utilizing only organic marketing strategies without prior study.
On the other hand, I strive to work hard to become indispensable to clients who know, at the very least, what is reasonable and what is not. In normal and sound onset of relationship with my client, I give my dedication and loyalty and the eagerness to give more value than what I am paid for.
Work Terms
2-3 hours per day and 5 days a week, on an hourly rate. I prefer Asana for communication and project management.
