I am an experienced call center agent, Internet Researcher, writer/blogger, virtual assistant and online data entry specialist from the Philippines. Currently, I am working as Marketing Assistant for a Belgian company (online).
Some time ago, I managed a team of data entry specialists. And I am looking forward to resuming our online operation given the right opportunity. Not so long in the past, I worked as a Virtual Assistant for a freelance programmer based in the US. Have done many other freelance jobs online through Rent-A-Coder and oDesk, which both go by different names.
I started working as a freelancer January of 2007 with a forum posting project after resigning from my last company (AskMeNow Inc., an American public corporation, specialized in mobile search and mobile advertising). Later on, I accepted article writing and blog posting projects. By June of 2007, I started working on data entry projects and, eventually, set up a team in July 2007 following clients’ decision to outsource the entire job. Team grew up to a hundred plus online workers from different parts of the country serving 13 different clients, operating round the clock, until economic crisis happened. Operation had to halt in 2012. Services offered include: Data Entry, Translation, VA, Graphic Design, Internet Research, Database Maintenance, Programming, etc.
On the side, I moonlight as events host, model, and television and movie talent.
My biggest ambition is to put up my own charity foundation for the homeless children and elderly. For the meantime, I conduct feeding program and outreach activities or participate in the same activities by other organizations as it is serving the poor which I believe is my ultimate calling.
