I am a professional freelance novel editor from the UK with over three years experience. I started working as an editor in 2015 for The Book Folks, an independent publisher based in London, which covers all genres of fiction, but focuses on Thriller and Mystery books. Working as part of a small team, I was able to gain a great deal of experience in developmental editing, line editing, and proofreading. I also have experience in proofreading non-fiction academic work, including Undergraduate and PhD theses, for Queen Mary University of London.

I have worked with writers whose work has gone on to be best-sellers on Amazon Kindle in categories including Women’s Thriller Fiction, Historical Fantasy Romance, and Irish Crime Fiction. I have worked with writers from the UK, USA, and Australia.

Outside of editing, I enjoy theatre and live music, cycling and swimming, spending time with my friends and family, and of course reading great novels.

Work Terms

-Microsoft Word Track Changes system is used for all editing.

-Turnaround times vary, but it usually takes 1-2 weeks. You will be informed of the proposed turnaround time before the start of the editing.

-I will never share any of your work or your personal details with any third parties.

-Use of my services does not guarantee publication or literary representation.
