Joseph C Slagle dba Plateau Marketing has been around since April 2003, though I started my consulting career at Havill Consultants in 1993, working on B2B market research and consulting engagements in several industries, but with a specialty in the service station equipment and fleet refueling and fleet card markets. In 1995 and 1996, I managed a 1,000 seat rollout of GoldMine and managed a 13 million record Dun & Bradstreet abstract file in MS SQL in support of a major oil CRM Fleet Card initiative. By 2000, I architected an online lead delivery system and multi-tenant CRM for our vertical markets.
In 2003, I split from Havill and focused on large (25+) GoldMine installations with integration, dashboarding, and reporting needs, focusing on my SQL expertise. While GoldMine usually served as my initial connection to a client, my services are vast and that's why I tend to develop long-term relationships.
My services simply include pretty much anything involving sales, marketing, and customer service data. This includes customer analysis and modeling, prospect database procurement, ramping up domains and IPs for e and social media marketing initiatives, establishing online profiles and social media presences, marketing/site/location analysis and selection, etc.
I do NOT want to own the keys to the kingdom. My preference is to help you clean up your business problem, empower you to manage it, and then move on.

Work Terms
I work remotely and all the time, but usually keep work communication to between 9 am - 4 pm. I prefer to invoice through my established PayPal business account and take payments there. Depending on scope, urgency, or time I need to dedicate, I may request a deposit.
