Joey is a Retoucher originally from Hong Kong currently residing in Brooklyn NY.

Joey loves drawing since he was a kid, he drew well enough to get hired as an assistant designer even without formal training back in 1993. After 2 years and destroyed dozens of Technical pens, he's been fortunate (or unfortunate) to experience the photoshop 2.5 (And yes, 2.5 not CS2) and there was no turning back. His skills then buildup through years of work and experimentation. His pursuit of creating digital visual also led him to other creative aspects, including photography, vector-based illustration, and 3D rendering, and often work with a combination of all.

Throughout the years, Joey gained invaluable experiences in working with dedicated design teams, from tiny design studios to worldwide advertising agencies, allowing him to take on a multitude of roles. These include Art Director, Graphic Designer, Retoucher, 3D Renderer, Video Compositor and sometimes even filling the shoes of a Copy Writer.

In 2011, Joey decided to place his major focus back on working in an area he's passionate about and works as a full-time freelance Retoucher. He specializes in image manipulation, non-destructive retouching, and color correction. Along with his years of advertising experience, Joey can always deliver high-level work and exceed clients expectations.

Joey loves drawing, still. The only thing changed is now using a Wacom instead of pencils.
