Joey Ilag started his humble beginning as an on-the-job trainee data encoder in 1997. Seeing his voluntary organized approach as an encoder, his place of internship turned out to be his very first place of employment. His employer, then, was a businessman with a few employees and had a current booming business as a distributor of veterinary lines of products and services. Thrifty as an employer, his boss doesn’t want to hire a personal accountant for his business. Instead, with accounting software at hand, his boss sorted to do his accounting task on his own but found himself no more time to do that. That’s why he hired Joey.
On his own, Joey studied the accounting solution provided by the software and later on efficiently employed it in his boss’ business. Though not a graduate of accounting nor bookkeeping course, his boss saw the professionalism in him with his submitted accounting reports and voluntary attitude. Thus, he was promoted to a supervisory position.
As to date, trained as General Virtual Assistant by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Philippines, Joey continually evolves as a methodical individual offering his services. His precise computing skills, detailed spreadsheets management make him suitable for bookkeeping and accounting positions in companies. His time management and organization skills allowed him to meet time-sensitive deadlines with high-quality work. Working from home, he is fully equipped with the standard office equipment needed to execute administrative assignments. Working independently and taking initiative when necessary are traits that he has sharpened as a virtual assistant. He is confident he would be a great addition to any team or company.
Providing sales and administrative support or personal assistance he will take minutes during company meetings via video conference, and honor a response time to any form of communication and a 24-hour response time even on the day’s company was closed.
Work Terms
I can work 40 hours a week and expect to receive a weekly payment. I can communicate with the client in English.
