Jaunty’s musical spirit and compassionate heart led to helping musicians make a name for themselves. Jaunty worked extensively with contestants from the CBS reality show, Rock Star: INXS. Jaunty provided a wide range of services for the popular TV show contestants, Deanna Johnston (Steven Tyler), MiG Ayessa (“We Will Rock You”), Brandon Calhoon (“Battle Creek” TV show). Jaunty supervised online promotion, graphic design, & grass roots marketing campaigns. Jaunty also booked the artists for major festivals. This experience led Jaunty to create the National Booking Agency, jauntyrose, with friend Rose Hilton Cowley. Jaunty hosted (proceeds went to the Children’s Miracle Network).

Johanna became interested in the production side of the music business. Johanna left jauntyrose and began working full time as a consultant Producer & Vice President for Real II Reel Productions. She spent 3 years there working with world class artists & producers including Dick Wagner (Aerosmith & Alice Cooper), Nick Trevisick (The Kinks, Katy Perry, Paramore), Blue Miller (Bob Seger, India.Aire), Ray Steinberg (The Reflections), & Matt Wilder (“Wilderside”). In 2012, Jaunty formed her own music and production company, Death By Lipstick Productions (DBL).

DBL has many strategic partners all over the world. Recently, Jaunty’s company formed an alliance with producer/songwriter Randy Lynch of III Worlds.com
Randy and his brother, Allen, have worked with Grammy Award winning songwriters, Oscar winners, Tony Award winning composers, Emmy Award winning TV shows, and gold & platinum selling recording artists. Johanna's commitment to the artist and the integrity of her business made this partnership a no brainer! Johanna is use to building grassroots projects and turning them into international campaigns. She has lent her talents to a number of non-profit organizations and charities. With strategic planning cross marketing, and innovative promotion Johanna has built international artists.
