Raspberry Pi and Python enthusiast
I'm a tech enthusiast with 20 years of experiences with various fields of IT.
Since 2012 i own a blog for supporting the wonderful Raspberry Pi microcomputers: Knight of Pi (www.knight-of-pi.org), gave Raspberry Pi/ IoT workshops and developed some prototypes.
Before that, i worked with Python and web technologies (Django, WordPress and other CMS) . I also have a Diploma in Bioinformatics, but didn't work in that area after leaving university.
There's a collection of my code examples for Raspberry Pi beginners on GitHub (https://github.com/JoBergs), but please keep in mind that it's mostly sample and not production code.
My latest IoT/Raspberry Pi projects:
* Sensor monitoring station for temperature, humidity, pressure and airflow that allows configuring the sensors and supressing alarms via touchscreen
* Escape room bomb prop where the timer can be adjusted remotely
* Interface for a pallet wrapper
* Taking photos and videos automatically on a running track via RFID signals
* Access control via keypad or RFID chip with server code validation
Work Terms
Work time is generally 8:00-18:00h UTC. I prefer to break a project down into subtasks and being paid part per part. Also, i value friendly and professional communication.
