In 2014 John Cabell established StrategyPoint Consulting, LLC. After many years of executive level strategy work in a variety of organizations, he developed a passion for beginning his own successful business story. Momentum developed quickly when even before he opened his doors, John had an interested client base.
John's wealth of professional experience in the financial services, manufacturing, transportation, and the education management industries, allows him to function as a generalist across many industries and types of business. From past roles such as Chief Financial Officer, Program Manager, and Customer Experience Executive at small and large companies, John is able to apply deep knowledge of finance, customer marketing, and project management acumen to most any business environment. His expertise allows him to knit diverse functional teams together to achieve a clear business purpose in the midst of uncertain or complex issues.
With an economics degree from the Virginia Military Institute, an MBA from the Mason School of Business at the College of William and Mary, and experience as an officer in the US Navy, John brings both strong credentials and decisive, action-oriented leadership to his work and that of his team. A thoughtful and process-oriented individual, John is often regarded as the force of reason in the midst of business uncertainty.
