Principal John Fakler is a winner of nine business journalism awards from The Florida Press Club and The Society of Professional Journalists. He has over 15 years of experience and has written extensively about compliance and regulatory issues, including Sarbanes-Oxley legislation, the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), the national stock markets, corporations and marginally traded firms. As an investigative journalist, John specialized in covering white-collar fraud and corruption among various criminal enterprises.

John worked as an executive editor for a real estate publishing company in Miami as well as a writer covering public and private companies, law, and corporate governance, most recently as Senior Reporter with The South Florida Business Journal and Senior News Editor with Internet Financial Network.

John is a graduate of New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) in Old Westbury, NY.
