Since May 2002, John J. Goldner has been sole proprietor of a consulting business dedicated to providing his clients with exceptional business management, marketing, financial and human resource advice and service.

Mr. Goldner worked with the Cancer Institute of New Jersey Foundation since January 2008 on a three-to-four day per week permanent basis. As its Chief Operating Officer (and for a majority of his time there) Goldner has been responsible for the overall operations of this 501(c)3 charitable organization, reporting directly to the Board of Directors for most of his tenure. Mr. Goldner then took what was essentially a start-up organization through some difficult yet rewarding years culminating in a successful merger with Rutgers University Foundation. This merger will provide previously unavailable assets and resources which will ultimately result in greatly expanded philanthropic support for The Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

From May 1996 to June 2002, Goldner held several positions within the Saint Barnabas Health Care System (now Barnabas Health), including those of the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations for Saint Barnabas Outpatient Centers. From 1990 to 1996, Mr. Goldner was the Manager of Field Finance for Cerberus Pyrotronics, a fire and life safety systems company.

The early years of his career were spent with the regional corporate office of Motorola Communications & Electronics and prior to that, Arthur Andersen & Company. Mr. Goldner holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Seton Hall University.

Work Terms

Billing rate is $125 per hour.
Reimbursement of client requested expenses are always discussed in advance of being incurred.
Terms to be addressed and confirmed in an engagement agreement to be signed before commencement of work.
