John Heeder is a senior technical writer with experience in all facets of creating and publishing documentation. With skills and experience as writer, editor, graphic designer, and software trainer, John has created and edited documents in multiple media for multiple audiences. John has created printed manuals, Adobe PDFs, online help systems, training videos, scripts, and more. John's background includes both corporate and government work.

John is a quick learner, easily getting up to speed on new software products; both tools used to create documentation, and applications being documented. John works well both as a team member and as a solo writer. He has managed several projects to successful completion as a team leader. He has also been the sole writer on documentation projects.

John is skilled with current software tools for documentation creation. This includes Microsoft Office and Adobe products.

John is interested in new opportunities in technical writing; both on an employment basis or working under a 1099 freelancer arrangement. He welcomes inquiries for work needed. In his free time, John likes to write novels and movie scripts. He likes to work out at the gym, cook meals, go to the movies, and spend time with his family.
