Recent projects completed include:
• Product pricing tool – update and maintain a macro-enabled Excel workbook that is used by a large (1,300 employees) US-based IT firm to generate quotes for its products for end-customers (50+ individual products each with various options for sub-products, service levels, duration, new/addon sales types and discounts)
• Excel and Outlook automation for bathroom fittings company – Outlook receives, and extracts specific data from, e-mails and passes it to Excel. Excel performs various calculations and creates a 'Quote' PDF file and then automates Outlook to reply to the original e-mail with the Quote attached
• Financial modelling – a UserForm to control a financial model allowing staff to input only valid inputs, and so assuring valid results
• Robotic machine targets – an Excel AddIn to generate a list of robotic vending machine target location points based on user-entered product details
• Excel VBA data transformation – sorting, filtering, copying, grouping, summarising and pivoting data for hotel bookings, discounts and vouchers at the click of a button
• Extract headings into Excel – headings in any Word document are extracted and loaded into an Excel table in a structured manner
• Employee attendance tracker – employees working weekly and fortnightly shifts needed a tracking and absence monitoring tool

Work Terms
I typically work Monday to Friday, early starts and finishes but can be flexible especially if you work in a different timezone.
I prefer hourly paid contracts but I'm willing to discuss fixed price contracts for a specific scope of work.
My style of communication is initially to ensure that project requirements are clearly understood before work starts and then to send regular updates on work progress. When a project is complete I am happy to review installation procedures and ensure users are comfortable with all work before any final sign-off.
