An arts writer with a Southern heart of gold.....
I'm a native Mississippian, and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1997 with degrees in Acting and Music. Two years later, I relocated to the Syracuse, NY area to work for an educational theater company. But in 2002, I was the victim of a brutal mugging and assault, and I received a traumatic brain injury in the attack. Since I no longer had the physical capabilities to perform, I re-established a career as a journalist and author, and I worked as a features writer for two local newspapers before relocating to Key West, Fla., in 2012.
I'm currently in the final stages of publishing a collection of short stories--sort of a humorous memoir. I enjoy spending my free time laughing at myself and other people.
Work Terms
My hours are very flexible, and I'm willing to spend up to 20 hours per week working on a given project. Compensation is flexible, too, and will depend on the nature and difficulty of an assignment.
