Veteran content producer John Upshall serves as executive producer on a series of highly complex videos in the emerging field of digital publishing/education for Pearson North America.

John began his television journalism career as an Operations Producer and Manager of Production for ABC's World News Tonight. His role was extensive in researching and producing stories which included the marine compound bombing in Beirut, the hijackings of TWA Flight 847 and the Achille Lauro, the Challenger Disaster, and long before there was DNA testing broke the Lenell Geter story, helping a wrongfully convicted man escape life in prison.

Looking for new challenges, John joined Edelman Public relations as Manager of Media Relations and its video production department, adapting the craft of newsgathering and information dissemination for corporate communications. While at Edelman, he developed the Philip Morris business for the agency, and went on to produce and manage the landmark Cipollone trial.

Upshall joined the Corporate Video Division at Reuters Television in 1990. He remained with the team when it was later launched separately as Corporate Television Group (CTV), where he worked on expanding accounts such as Philip Morris, Chrysler, Texaco, Merck and others. Following CTV's acquisition by Medialink Worldwide in 1997, he continued to work closely on the Philip Morris account, producing corporate image pieces, long form primers, town hall meetings, event marketing, mergers and acquisitions, video magazines, live events and presentation videos for external and internal audiences.

He also possesses extensive knowledge and interest of the auto industry and significant automobile marques. He recently discovered, brokered, negotiated and consummated the sale of a rare and highly sought after 1965 V12 Ferrari currently undergoing a full mechanical and cosmetic restoration.
