After a career in law enforcement I retired in 1991 to pursue my dream of illustration and began my business, TIME WORK GRAPHICS, also now, JohnColladoART. I have worked with many clients and completed several commissions to date as well as illustrated several published book covers and children's books. I dabble in political satire, caricatures and portraiture. But my interest lies in illustration and concept art and would like to focus my strengths there. Though I am a traditional Artist by trade, I have since converted to digital to keep up in today's market. However, no matter what rings in at my studio I keep an open mind and try to meet any challenges a client may offer. My strengths and creativity have been used by many clients to accomplish their goals, whether personal or business. I offer outstanding work to complete satisfaction. Work Terms
JohnColladoART works strictly by contract, whether yours or mine. My bids are usually based on an entire project fee, However some projects require a fee per illustration. Payment schedules are set up per contract and vary depending on the clients needs. However, I have recently worked with an author on a children's book project where each individual illustration was paid for after the finished file was uploaded to the client (watermarked until paid). This worked out well for me and convenient for the client. So this may be another way to work out a payment schedule if it is convenient for you. I set a deadline and stick to it as long as revisions from clients are returned within a 48 hour turn around from submission. Complete project details are laid out in my contracts so both parties understand their requirements up front. I have had a good working relationship with every client since 1991 whether inside or outside of Guru.
