I’ve found tacos in more than 20 countries, through a combination of determination, a knack for 'finding things', and a nose for cumin and ancho chiles. Not all of my tacos finds have been successful (some have even been inedible), but as someone (who wasn't Winston Churchill) said, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."
I've been able to chase down those tacos thanks to my experience working in the US and abroad. My former employers, ranging from a local coffee roaster (Java City) to the United Nations, have given me a unique opportunity to work in very different cultural and business contexts. My ability to dig deep to surface issues, collaborate to discover options and provide staff the tools needed to implement solutions has truly benefited from this international exposure. I have an enthusiasm for helping others move toward their vision that crosses cultural barriers and brings teams together, through failures and successes.
