I have always enjoyed reading and have a passion for spelling and grammar, so the job of a proofreader, which combines these two, has always been ideal for me.

Work Terms

I am a distinction graded proofreader, qualified through The Publishing Training Centre. I have A grades in Linguistics, English Literature and Language and a high standard of accuracy.

The majority of documents I receive are created in Microsoft Word and I usually amend using the 'track changes' feature. If you are not familiar this with this I can highlight every single amendment, however, I would charge an additional $2 for this because it takes longer.

I also charge an additional $2 per hour if English is not your first language and you struggle with this, as I will ensure that your work makes sense and this can take me some time in certain cases.
