Writing that is clear, concise, technically accurate, and accessible to a non-technical audience.
I have been dubbed a "wordsmith" by past coworkers.
If you need technically accurate content in language that is easy to understand, I can help.
Prior to becoming a freelance technical article and website copy writer, I worked in a wide variety of fields including manufacturing, custom-engineered equipment sales and engineering, residential construction, and industrial product distribution. As a result, I am knowledgeable about a wide variety of industrial products, construction practices, custom-engineered equipment, and the industrial distribution market.
I have always had a strong interest in all things related to the internet. I built my first website about five years ago, and have built at least a dozen since then. Because of this interest and experience I am knowledgeable about a wide range of internet technologies and applications - and those that I am not knowledgeable of, I can learn about quickly.
I enjoy writing pieces where accuracy and professionalism are important. I am interested in writing content that matters, and that needs to be right.
I am not a content mill writer. If you need lots of words at the lowest price possible, I am not the writer you're looking for. However, if you need the right words, at a fair price, then we should talk.
Work Terms
As a full-time freelancer I am usually extremely responsive to your needs. In most cases, if you ask me to take on an urgent project I can begin work in just a few hours, unless I have made a prior commitment to another client's urgent project.
I typically request a 25% deposit from first-time clients with projects worth more than $200. I request payment in full within five business days of delivery of the finished product. I am amenable to other payment terms, but ask that we settle terms prior to beginning a project.
