A copywriter since way back when he was a bit younger, Jon has experience of working Above-The-Line, Below-The-Line, Through-The-Line and even crossing the line now and again. He has worked (and continues to work) on ideas for Social, TV, Online, Press, Outdoor and DM. Even on the backside of a cow.
He's won many pitches along the way, with the £20m Barclaycard and £20m Allianz accounts respectively being the highlights - certainly for the Finance departments. At the time, they were each agency’s biggest account wins and he was the senior copywriter on both.
Awards have been won and lost (awards are sooooo subjective... especially when you lose), but Jon prides himself on the reward of getting a good idea off the ground and making it happen.
