I am a CIMA (Chartered Management Accountant) and a Company Secretary and Administrator (CIS) and have a BCom in business management. I am a 53 year old South African, Portuguese speaking executive manager with more than 25 years as a CFO (Chief Financial Officer), FD (Financial Director). I have served many multi national companies in these capacities and others, across various industries (diamond mining, geotechnical engineering, manufacturing, waste management, construction, etc). I have worked in South Africa, but also in Botswana, Mozambique, Angola, Kenya, Uganda, Mauritius, Swaziland, Qatar, Zambia. My technical expertise as well as my vast experience in finance, human resources, corporate governance, strategic planning and execution amongst others has resulted in me being able to advise many foreign executives from Portugal, Spain, France, United Kingdom and United States of America, on best practise whilst doing business in the above mentioned industries and countries. I have for several years also been an entrepreneur, having owned businesses in the hospitality and manufacturing industries. The latter giving me more perspective of the challenges faced by SMME (Small, Medium, Micro Enterprises) in stark contrast to what happens in the corporate world. This has enabled me to be in a better position to consult and coach young start-up entrepreneurs and to guide them on how to run their businesses in such a way that they have all the necessary pillars in place in order to be able to scale their business in the future.

Work Terms

working hours are generally 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. Payment is upfront unless agreed otherwise. Email, Skype, and/or telephone are the preferred modes of contact.
