I’m creative, pro-active and punctual with a passion for problem solving and the creation of better channels for communication.
Born in Mexico City, I grew up with great imagination and an avid interest in reading, films and storytelling in general, often fantasizing about alternative worlds and lives during my formative years. I started out as a screenwriter in the year 2012 after completing my filmmaking studies in New York and went on to work on various projects such as shortfilms, feature films, commercials and music videos, honing my style and technique in the process, before going back to Mexico to work formally in various jobs and various positions within the filmmaking industry.
My proficiency with English led me to become a professional over-the-phone interpreter for a wide variety of agencies, from government to medical clinics, insurance companies and banks, as well as several jobs as a subtitler for audiovisual content.
On May, 2018, I published my first novel, "The Song of a Siren", by which I discovered a freedom that is rarely found within the limitations of the film industry, being able to breathe life into a story that had been conceived well over 7 years prior, giving way to a newfound passion for literature that would be followed up by an even more profound and personal story titled "Fabula Amoris", published on August, 2021.
My interests are focused on all branches of the creation of audio-visual content with a distinct emphasis in any form of writing, translating and the development of creative ideas.
