25+ Experience but you wouldn't know it...
I started IT at about 12 years old on Windows 3.1. At 14 I was building them out of spare parts my dad brought home from the school he was a custodian at and selling them.
This continued until about 22. Then while doing work for a health company as an assistant I offered to help th install windows xp.
From then I just read Technology books, learned, got certified. I was assigned projects to advance the companies servers and networks. I worked with the C-level officers and navigated the corporate and monetary politics.
I traveled around the country because I had a variety of technology experience... but I didn't speak like an IT guy.
I decided to leave the company once the owner that I was loyal too for over a decade retired or sold. Eventually I did during COVID. Bounced up to OR and did some non profit. Spent some time in AZ, landed in MI working for a municipal service operations with 50+ employees, 100-200 network and servers, and an extensive budget.... that I manage by myself.
I am working on starting my own llc to help businesses that do not require or have a dedicated IT resource or department.
In the mean time, my services are available.
