I help brands, authors, and artists tell their stories to the world and circulate information that is clear, correct, and compelling.
I am a detail-obsessed word nerd and multimedia storyteller who loves to help other people. Clients I have worked or volunteered for include Grammarly, Purdue University Fort Wayne, American Red Cross, Horror Writers Association, ShopGoodwill.com, and many small businesses.
In this mind-boggling post-truth era we live in, I imagine a world in which people hold information, communication, and thought to a higher standard; in which people from all walks of life have access and contribute to the vast and ever-growing expanse of human knowledge; and in which creativity is valued as much as profitability.
I am doing my part to bring about this world by building a business that encourages storytelling, creativity, critical thinking, literacy, empathy, and ethical communication.
It is no exaggeration to say that this is my passion and not just a profession. I read the Chicago Manual of Style in my free time. I eat checklists for breakfast, style guides for lunch, and final revisions for dinner.
In addition to working with the awesome companies mentioned above, I have been a music artist for most of my life and a published author since 2016. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in writing and a minor in psychology. I am a member of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers), ACES (American Copy Editors Society), the Horror Writers Association, and the Science Fiction & Fantasy Poetry Association.
My mission is to use my nerd powers to tell compelling stories and help others do the same. If you have a message that needs to be delivered, please check out my freelance writing, editing, and proofreading services. Let’s tell your story to the world!
