Joshua Karapetian received his bachelors at East Carolina University after spending four years studying and learning about film making and story telling. As a student, Joshua spent his time as a leader in his organization, working multiple jobs, which earned him the position as manager of the film equipment at the University. During his time at college, Joshua joined the Cinematic Arts and Media Production's Guild and was voted as the Guild's President during his Junior year.
He continued to be a leader in his field, beginning to create a full length feature film with his college friend Tyler Goodwin. It was a project that exceeded his college experience with it being finished in May 2018. The film, Small Town Relics, was premiered in June of 2018 to a sold out venue in Southern Pines, NC. The film is currently planned to be released to the public, later in 2018.
Today, Joshua works independently as a freelance artist working with large brands such as Electrolux, Decko Products, and CLC, working to create corporate online videos for promotion.
