Writing, Illustration, Design.
D.F.E has had a few configurations over the years, and involves a number of working artists and writers, even now including some programmers and coders, who can be accessed by other means.
Our current guru presence is primarily Keith and Cris Basham (usually working as Cris Qualiana) Have written articles, comics, just one novella (so far) and have created covers for books and albums, designed logos for record companies and small businesses, together since about 2005.
Also some technical manuals, some how-to articles, and a whole stack of paintings and illustrations, some of which are currently in use or on display in the city of Portland, OR, or even on the show Portlandia.

Work Terms
Varied, according to the task. Written matter under a thousand words expected paid by the word upon completion and acceptance. Written matter of extended length or size may require a retainer or stipend.
Design, Portraiture, or new artistic matter will generally require a retainer and full payment upon acceptance.
Rights for use of existing work or outright purchase of existing works is fairly straightforward.
We are pretty flexible, so don't hesitate to ask if you are in dire need, or have specific requirements.
