Award winning playwright, children's writer, editor, and ghostwriter
As a freelance ghostwriter, editor, and book doctor, I love coming alongside clients and helping them bring to fruition a wide array of projects. As a ghostwriter, I've written more than a dozen novels, as well as memoirs, textbooks, picture books, and parenting books. As an editor, I have worked on fiction, non-fiction, and instructional texts. I am an award-winning playwright with a degree in theater from the renowned drama school at Northwestern University. My plays have been produced in New York, Chicago, Seattle, and San Diego. As a playwright, I spent many years in classrooms, teaching writing and drama residencies, and helping teachers develop integrated curriculum. These years bring a special degree of experience with children's imaginations to my work on children's projects. I am also fluent in Spanish, having lived in Guatemala for a time; in another life I was the lead translator for a Chicago real estate magazine.
Work Terms
I communicate extremely quickly through email, and am occasionally available via the phone. I prefer to be paid through Guru's Escrow and Arbitration services, though once we have established a working relationship, I am happy to simply invoice you. I complete all projects and communication promptly, and appreciate when payment is prompt in return. I am always happy to work on a project until the client is completely satisfied.
