I am a Software Engineer with 27 years of experience. I was born, raised and graduated from college in Spain. I moved to the US over 20 years ago.

I enjoy reading, cycling, videotaping my son's soccer games... and translating. As fluent in both Spanish and English, it pains me to read poor translations and I set out to right the wrongs... hence this profile.

I have been consistently top-rated for delivering high quality results on time and on budget. Currently I am ranked 1st out of more than 17,000 test takers in the Upwork (formerly oDesk) English to Spanish Translation Skills Test.

As per the way I work, I don't translate literally. I read the text, comprehend it and express it on the target language so it sounds perfectly natural.

I proofread my own translations several times to ensure they are perfect. Nothing is left to chance.

My personal goal is always to exceed expectations and establish a long-term working relationship mutually beneficial.

Work Terms

Currently I'm available on a part-time basis of approximately 20 hours a week.
