I currently reside in Buffalo, NY where I work as a paralegal for the USAF and attend school to receive my BA in Legal Studies and Anthropology. I'm on a creative writing and merit scholarship. I'm also working on receiving my civilian paralegal certificate, as well as two minors. Writing has always been a huge part of my life, as my mother is a published author and we spend our time trading works and editing for each other. My poems have been published in multiple anthologies, as well as featured online and winning contests.
As a paralegal, most of my time is spent drafting and editing legal documents. These documents must be concise and meticulously edited, as they often come across the desk of our commander and are published in official records of trial. My other duties include administrative writing such as website posts, informational brochures, PowerPoints, or memoranda. Depending on the tasking, I also work with clients to produce personal letters and applications.
