Environmental Justice Researcher & Writer
I am a published academic researcher with extensive experience in researching and writing for both academic and private sector needs. As a human geographer, I bring an interdisciplinary skill set to bear on complex questions of social and environmental justice. I conduct online, archival, and map-based research. I have experience communicating the complex patterns that emerge to both academic and public audiences. Throughout my career as a researcher, I have developed clear oral and visual presentation skills as well as creative writing skills. To facilitate multi-modal communication, I can edit audio stories, transcribe and subtitle audio and video, create story-maps, and compile visual presentations.
