I create high-end artwork of subject matter that I find captivating. I have a passion for creating interesting artwork that brings joy to life.

My story as an artist began as a child who simply loved to create. I have fond memories of coloring, painting and creating "masterpieces", while sitting on our family dock on the Gulf Coast of Florida. As I evolved through high school, looking forward to college, art felt like home.

I am an Alabama native that lives in the Northern Virginia/D.C. area. I received a Bachelor of the Arts from The University of Alabama. During my studies, I traveled abroad to Florence, Italy to study the fine arts and art history.

After graduating college, I worked in various industries: Advertising, Real Estate, Software and Graphic Design. During this time, I married and started a family. After my children were born I made the decision to stay at home. My desire to express my creativity continued to grow through mediums ranging from baby food, play dough, gingerbread and woodworking.

Moving forward as a professional artist my focus turned to watercolor painting. My preferred medium is watercolor, but I also paint with acrylics. My work is inspired by subjects that bring joy to our lives and smiles on our faces.

I create high-end commissioned pet portraits, architectural paintings, animal paintings, floral paintings and paintings of subject matter that I find captivating. I have a passion for creating interesting compositions from a unique perspective, with brilliant color and depth.
