Writer and Personal Assistant

As a well-traveled, well-read writer with diverse work experience and a broad educational background, I've worked on a wide range of projects in a variety of different contexts (business, entertainment, academia, etc.). This versatility not only allows me to work competently on a multitude of different tasks, but also adds dimension, depth and perspective to my writing. I'm a native English speaker with a rich vocabulary, and as a certified English tutor, my spelling, grammar and syntax are impeccable.

My writing skills, education and diverse work experience around the world, coupled with my MSc in Computer Science, has allowed me to branch into the fields of Customer Service/Support (email handling, order processing, etc.), Community Management (managing social media platforms, moderating comments, etc.) as well as Personal/Virtual Assistance (administrative work, research, proof reading, data entry, transcription, etc.).

My educational background includes a BA in Humanities, Society and Culture (from the Anglo-American University in Prague, Czech Republic) and an MSc in Computer Science (with a focus on e-learning, human-computer interaction and program development, from the University of Hertfordshire). Writing in such diverse academic settings has made me an experienced researcher and writer; it also taught me the important role that precision and coherence play in creating an organised text that is not only engaging but also effective and convincing.

I'm from the UK and I've spent a large part of my life in different areas of the world (mostly in Southern Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East). Growing up, studying, and working in international settings and interacting with different people from different backgrounds has heightened my sensitivity to the subtleties of social/cultural nuances and differences. Being culturally and socially aware of the potential/target audience allows me to create more effective work.
