Head of Projects & Products

I am a highly experienced project and product professional with over 25 years of software product experience with around 20 years of that in project and people management and 15 years in product management. I have worked remotely for several years with cross-functional teams. I am very comfortable in all aspects of people, product and project management.

I am proficient in agile development, including the Scrum framework. I am well versed at backlog grooming, compiling user stories and dealing with entire cross-functional scrum teams through all the sprint events. My many years of software product development and project experience helps me to relate well to engineers, C Suite and other senior management, as well as customers and users. I enjoy creating a robust development process for the team which results in code reviews and a change control process that mitigates bugs. Within that process, even with designers and QA involved, I have a penchant for testing, UI and UX to ensure a product that is world class and that delights the customer.

I thrive in high-pressure and fast-paced situations, striving for positive results by applying my technical knowledge and business and people acumen. I possess expertise in product and customer discovery including creating customer personas, discovery interviews, data compilation and analysis, both quantitative data and qualitative data. I have expert experience in compiling KPIs, including product metrics, and OKRs.

I have a passion for business, project and product specific books, podcasts and resources and am continually refining my project, people and product management abilities, ensuring that I am always up to date with best practices and am able to provide an ever improving service to the business and it’s customers.
