I design sales pitches or “value arguments”. It involves much more than crafting language. It is the psychology of motivation. Why do we pay attention? Why do we believe? Why do we act? Writing with an understanding of motivating principles is the key to effective messaging.

I have a unique perspective, because I took a unique path. I didn't come up through agencies. I was a salesman, then the VP of Sales/Marketing for an innovative dotcom, BroadCast Software. I developed BroadCast's successful sales campaigns. We were innovators in ecommerce and SEO. I closed business with lots of Fortune 500 clients. We raised a few million dollars and had many firsts. I've been a publisher, a writer, an artist, a real estate investor and owned a mortgage company. Most of my experience has been on the side of the desk agencies sell to. And that's not a bad perspective to have. At all.

Work Terms

I work mostly on a project-to-project basis. Projects are often bid with a not-to-exceed budget. I'm available online most of the time. You'll usually hear back from me right away. You'll always hear back the same day. Unless otherwise arranged, payments are due upon completion.
