Seasoned Brand Strategist. Keen to work with Startups and Entrepreneurs!

I am a seasoned Brand Strategist with 20yrs experience in creating brands, sustaining their growth and connect with people/consumers. I am based out of Bangalore, India. In my 20yrs Market Research & Brand Strategy experience, I have worked with global advertising networks known for their robust Brand Planning culture like JWT, Lowe Worldwide, Havas Worldwide, McCann, DDB Mudra and with an Ad Start-up (founded by ex-Oglivy Strategy team), on a range of FMCG (global & local), Fashion, Lifestyle, Home, Retail, Healthcare and Entrepreneurial brands. For a larger part of my career, I have lived at the heady intersection of ‘business and creativity-intuition’, on highly process-oriented global & local brand portfolios like Pepsi India, Reckitt Benckiser, Britannia Industries Ltd, Titan Industries, Tanishq, Marico, Bharti-Walmart, Vini cosmetics, Honeywell , Diageo etc.

These portfolios have not only demanded me to be agile on thinking, but also groomed me on “upstream brand thinking’ – going beyond communication campaigns to handle clients’ deeper-lying business problems.At present, on a conscious break from Advertising, I am functioning as a mentor/remote brand resource for a set of Startups. And, I am keen to progress further in one of the three verticals - Business/Brand Consultancy, Innovation + Future readiness (Creating Consumer-centric value) and Cultural Anthropology. These verticals, I believe, would put me on a fresh learning curve, while allowing me to apply my brand experience for a bigger purpose.

I am interested in projects/assignments related to : Brand Growth Strategy, Brand Communication Strategy, Consumer segmentation, Growth Opportunities from Consumer needs, Product innovation pipeline, Brand Engagement, Cultural anthropology etc. And I am open to work with Brand teams.

My interests : Travelling, Yoga, Cooking, Terrace Box farming
