Attitude is a little thing which makes a big difference.

I am born and raised in Hawaii. I Studied at Lewis and Clark College in Oregon (Business Administration/Computers). I Moved back to Hawaii due to family obligations. I began working as a waitress, then later as an administrative assistant, resort administrator, and currently not employed. I am staying at home with my parents who need me. We are a tight family and they are very important in my life and now it's my turn to care for them. We are as a family very much apart of a local canoe club and have been since 1972. My father started the Club so it is in my blood and I am very much linked to the sport. We are also ranchers and need help there also. My cousins help out there. I take care of the canoe club and it's operation. It is a big part of our community. Especially our kids program. It has helped many kids stay off the street and off drugs. We take pride in our kids (keiki) since they are our future we must continue to educate and perpetuate our culture through them.
In short, I am just an average person trying to make it in a society driven by money and politics with our rising prices and cost of living, every avenue of life needs to be explored and experienced. I try to put my best foot forward with every situation, opportunity, and path set before me. I give my 100% in everything I do and aim to please by following instructions and paying close attention to detail. I like to solve problems and enjoy the end result when it is done correctly. I like to organize and prioritize it gives me a sense of accomplishment with pride. Trials and tribulations some people shy away from them but I look at a situation with those attributes and ask myself, how can I make it better? How can I make this non- workable situation work? The gratification is in the journey and the knowledge that I tried. If success is achived it's a bonus, if not, then at least I can say I tried better than not trying at all.
