When entering a new job, whether it be in retail, hospitality, medical, or entertainment; I like to take the time to understand the position first, familiarize myself with my co-workers and my responsibilities, and the overall culture of the company. I then feel confident going forward being able to help others (especially new people!) learn the things I learn to make the work more efficient and fun.
