Unconventional creative writer looking to break into freelance writing.

I am an avid creative writer that has been journaling and composing poetry and works of fiction for as long as I can remember. Daily writing is a part of my religion. I have never attempted to be a published writer, but have always been praised for my writing ability and uncanny way of verbalizing other people's sentiments.

I spent my early adult life traveling. I rode freight trains and hitchhiked my way all over North and Central America. I have lived in both urban and rural settings, from San Francisco, CA to Freeland, MD. Currently, I live off-grid on a boathouse on the Mississippi River, and am preparing to move into an airstream with my two dogs. Due to this, I am in need of work that can travel with me, and have recently decided to attempt to break into the world of freelance writing.

I have formal education in herbalism, nutrition and wildlife rehabilitation, and feel confident in my ability to write authoratively on any of the afore-mentioned topics. Additionally, I have a lot of knowledge about low-budget travel, DIY lifestyle choices, grass roots movements and off-grid living. I am also a quick learner who can improvise when necessary.

Anyone who might utilize my services would be taking a chance, it's true, but I believe that they will find an enthusiastic writer who is both capable and consistent. My unorthodox life choices provide me with an insight and perspective that is often overlooked. In the right setting I believe I could be an asset.
