Growth with Compassion: Trauma-Informed Garden Curriculum for Healing and Learning
My name is Kalie! I’m a dedicated informal educator, leading garden and art workshops, and a writer with a passion for gardening and a deep understanding of trauma-informed care. With hands-on experience managing garden programs for youth aged 6-18 in residential treatment facilities, I specialize in creating garden curricula that promote both learning and healing. Work Terms
Project Timeline & Scope: We will agree on a project timeline at the start. I will do my best to meet all deadlines; however, changes in scope or additional requests may affect the timeline. If the scope of the project changes (for example, if a larger curriculum is requested than originally discussed), we will agree upon the new scope and adjusted pricing before moving forward.
If a project requires expedited completion, a rush fee of 15-25% of the total project cost may apply, depending on the timeline.
Confidentiality: I respect the confidentiality of all client information and will not share any project details without prior consent. Any materials shared during the course of our work will be treated with the utmost care and discretion.
Ownership & Use of Materials: Upon full payment, you will have full rights to the final curriculum. Prior to payment, I retain the right to use any drafts or completed work as part of my portfolio. Any materials I provide are for your specific project use and will not be redistributed or sold.
Communication: I prefer to communicate via e mail or Guru’s messaging system for project updates, clarifications, and document sharing. I aim to respond within 48 hours to all communications. For more immediate or real-time discussions, Zoom or phone calls can be arranged by appointment. Let me know what works best for you!
Availability: I currently work full-time in residential treatment facilities, teaching art and gardening workshops, so my schedule is flexible around both parties' needs. I’m happy to accommodate different time zones and timelines as best as possible.
