Most recently, I've owned and operated a computer repair and retail store for the past five years. Previous to owning a computer repair shop, I worked for a local newspaper/print shop doing typesetting and graphic art work, during which I used Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. Along with those duties, I also ran an A.B. Dick offset printing press with a T-51 color head for 13 years. I have designed and printed brochures, flyers, envelopes, business cards and much more! I've followed jobs from conception to completion, consulting with the customer and designing the project, making the plates for the press to printing and folding, numbering and other bindery techniques. I have a multitude of experience when it comes to the printing industry. In addition to graphic design on a computer, drawing has also been a passion of mine for the past 27 years. I consider myself an artist and I am looking for more experiences that include art! I'd love to try my hand at illustrating and I'm hoping that guru.com can help me engage that passion. I am open to a variety of projects and welcome anything strange and unusual.
