In 2004, I started working for a doctor as a receptionist. It didn't take long to become very interested in the administrative functions happening in the office. I was willing and eager to learn everything I could. In 2007, the office's billing and office manager quit. At that time, the doctor offered me the position. Thus began a long career working in the field and learning through experience. In 2013, the office went through some changes and a satellite business was started to offer medical offices staffing and billing services. I was made the manager and consultant for billing services and have been working in that capacity ever since.
