Experienced Professional Writer and Entrepreneur

For the past 5 years I have been helping businesses and organizations reach their utmost potential and funding. Coming from a humble Cuban family, I understood the importance of non-profit work and of aiding people start their own companies. As the Vice President for Development at Inspire Cuba, Inc. I oversee all donor relations and grant strategies. I am also the founder and main editor of "I Was Here" a podcast and blog that focuses on current issues facing the Miami Dade County Community in Florida. Aside from my personal businesses, I am also the main grants manager at the HistoryMiami Museum. Overall, I have helped several organizations raise more than $300,000 in revenue to maintain their operations and complete their goals.

Work Terms

Hours of Operations are flexible, but will only take appointments on Monday-Friday from 5:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. During the weekend I am available from 12-3 p.m. Accommodations can be made. Rates depend on the type of grant or writing request, and start out as 0.50 cents per word on documents, aside from hourly rates for editing, public relations work,and follow-up of grant completion (starts at $30/hour, will make reasonable adjustment for non-profits). Prices can be negotiated.
