My name is Karmen and I am the founder of Modern Adulthood - counseling and education agency that helps people clear their identity, develop healthy relationships, built their career and enjoy their adult life.
I finished my studies at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana and obtained a professional title B. A. (Pedagogy and Sociology of Culture). My quest for further education led her to enter doctoral studies of Marital and Family Therapy at the Faculty of Theology in Ljubljana. As part of her doctoral dissertation, I researched the topic of "The Relationship between unemployed young adults, self-esteem, and family of origin." Unemployment, especially among young adults, has become one of the most urgent issues of the modern world, not only in contemporary Slovenia but around the world, making it a global issue and one that we need to pay more attention to.
I have more than a decade of professional experience in the field of human relations, working with a diversity of individuals, whose age spans from kindergarten age to adulthood. My background in the formal educational system gave me the experience, the knowledge and the fundamental value and appreciation of where I am today — helping other wonderful people deserving a happier life and wellbeing.

Work Terms
I work from Monday to Friday. My services are offered in Slovene and English language, therefore we are open to people from all over the world. When we agree to work together I will send you the link to schedule the meeting.
