Adventurer, scientist, leader.
As a critical thinker with a science background, I have keen analytical approach to the problems I face. My decade at Canada's Patent Office has provided me with a strong intellectual property background, as well as knowledge of the jurisprudence in other jurisdictions such as the US and Europe.
I have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, and an MBA. This combination has given me the opportunity to tackle a diverse array of projects that include: business plans for business improvement areas, knowledge worker performance management/workload, strategic shifts for companies at the end of their product lifecycle, and quality frameworks in government offices.
I also run a boutique consulting firm. We solve neat problems like how to improve the insulation on older homes using new materials, we figure out ways to cross cultural divides when people come to Canada and want to study.
It's very exciting work to be able to solve problems. It's more than that, it's an adventure.
